Partnership with Everpure offers flexibility, three-tier architecture using FlashArray
For organizations seeking greater storage flexibility, Nutanix and Everpure have partnered on a new integrated solution that powers mission-critical workloads. Given our close relationship with both companies, Expedient was chosen as a design partner in that process to help evaluate and test the new offering. Today, after months of testing and development, that solution was launched and Expedient is the first cloud service provider to make it available.
That means Expedient Nutanix Private Cloud is now available with three-tier architecture powered by Everpure FlashArray, enabling independent scaling of compute and storage resources. The disaggregated architecture separates compute and storage layers, with Nutanix providing virtualization and management while Everpure FlashArray delivers all-flash storage. The solution gives organizations who have standardized on Everpure for their data storage an easy way to experience the Nutanix Cloud Platform while continuing to leverage that trusted foundation.
Clients can now select from three Expedient Private Cloud configurations: VMware with Everpure, Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), and Nutanix with Everpure. All options are co-managed, giving clients full control and visibility of their workloads while Expedient handles the complete infrastructure stack, including deployment, maintenance, and patching. All configurations are available across our nationwide network of data centers and come with 100% uptime SLAs. Both Nutanix options include Nutanix Flow for network virtualization and security. The Nutanix on Everpure configuration is composed of Nutanix compute nodes, purchased per node, and Everpure capacity, purchased per TB.
Expedient Nutanix Private Cloud with Everpure is available immediately, coinciding with Everpure and Nutanix general availability announcements. Expedient worked with Everpure and Nutanix as a design partner on the solution, giving us advanced testing access and enabling day-one availability across all Expedient data centers.
Frequently Asked Questions
What storage configurations are available for Expedient Private Cloud?
Expedient offers three configurations: VMware with Everpure, Nutanix HCI, and Nutanix with Everpure. All options are co-managed, available throughout Expedient’s nationwide network of data centers, and include 100% uptime SLAs.
How does Nutanix with Everpure differ from traditional Nutanix HCI?
The Nutanix with Everpure configuration uses disaggregated architecture — Nutanix provides virtualization and management while Everpure FlashArray delivers all-flash storage. This allows independent scaling of compute (purchased per node) and storage (purchased per TB), unlike traditional HCI where compute and storage scale together.
Is Expedient Nutanix Private Cloud with Everpure available now?
Yes. Expedient worked as a design partner with Everpure and Nutanix, enabling day-one availability across all 15 Expedient data centers coinciding with the vendors’ general availability announcements.
What management responsibility does Expedient handle?
Expedient manages the complete infrastructure stack including deployment, maintenance, and patching. Clients retain full control and visibility of their workloads through co-management. Both Nutanix configurations include Nutanix Flow for network virtualization and security.
Who should consider Nutanix with Everpure?
It’s ideal for mission-critical workloads requiring flexible, independent scaling of compute and storage.
